Al Éxito is a non-profit organization that inspires, prepares, supports, and positions Latinx leaders, middle school through college, for postsecondary attainment, career readiness, and civic engagement. I've had the pleasure of working along side with them, offering my skills to help further their mission by creating digital content.
Al Éxito presents Discovery Series: Cultural Travel was a virtual cultural exchange that took place during the Summer of 2020. This was a challenging year for a lot of people. Due to the pandemic, all activities were moved to a virtual setting. This included fundraisers.
The goal with this design was to create shareable content that would grab the attention of an average internet user and, more over, to gain more potential donors.
In this design, one will see the use of reds and yellows to catch the eye of anyone scrolling past. The small details in the design of the logo are to bring people in, to catch even more interest.

This was the initial concept for the shareable flyer. This was changed to be four separate flyers, in order to give every presenter time to garner an audience.

The use of this image of David Baeza adds a human element to the design, which only adds to the goal of this project.

The Mary E Campos Scholarship Program
On top of providing Latinx youth with programming, Al Éxito awards scholarships to graduating high school students. The Mary E. Campos Scholarship Program holds an annual luncheon in order to the money needed for the scholarships.
I was tasked with creating a shareable flyer, one that would not take away from the formality of this event. On top of that, one that can showcase and honor Mary E. Campos.
The colors used in this flyer came from the logo itself. The baja patterns that sandwich the flyer are based directly off the sashes given to graduating Al Éxito students.
Conceptual Design for the Mary E. Campos Virtual Awards
These concept designs were not used due to not meeting the over all feeling  that Al Éxito was trying to provide. This is a bold design, and I am over all proud of how it turned out.
